Extremely Unusual and Rare Calendar and Thermometer c1890
Faced in high quality leather and crocodile skin with brass fittings this item has been designed and made to the highest standard. The day, date, month are adjusted by turning the brass knobs, the thermometer is scaled in fahrenheit and centigrade. Standing 47cms tall the racket can be hung from an attachment on the back of the handle to the wall. It will also sit nicely on a desk by using leather held stand. The butt end and grip are in crocodile skin and faced in leather, the throat has a leather collar. The head of the racket is also bound in crocodile skin. A beautifully crafted item in excellent condition.
