Description
Oil Lamp Base c1880
A heavy cast iron lamp base with threaded insert sitting on four cast feet. Each face is decorated with an early tennis scene. A lady player dressed in a long skirt and large hat is receiving a ball over a diagonally strung net from her male opponent. Both are holding early pear-shaped rackets. The bottom of the base measures 14cms square and stands 14cms high. The condition is very good.
