This hardback book has linen boards with two crossed early lawn tennis rackets in red/brown to the front cover. The pages are not numbered and contain numerous advertisements of the day, a list of officers, a list of champions from 1881-1894 in both singles and doubles, images of past champions including Wren and Slocum. There are also tables showing rankings for each year, further on a comprehensive list of rules of the game followed by a score card for each day of the championship. The 64 pages are clean, bright and tight. Just the fly sheet is showing binding, but not loose. This volume I would rate as excellent.
