Trim Postcard Mrs Lambert Cambers no57
A real photographic postcard, the second earliest type (white script/gloss finish). Mrs Lambert Chambers – reverse in pencil states Wimbledon Ladies Singles Winner 1903, 04, 06, 10, 11, 13 and 14. Dorothea Katherine nee Douglass, also won a gold medal at the 1908 Olympics. She was also a runner-up in three ladies doubles and one mixed doubles final at Wimbledon. Condition – very good.
