During a telephone conversation with a collector in Scotland I discovered a local newspaper had been delivered by mistake. Listed within the contents was notice of a local auction and to my surprise there was a ball cleaner. The parochail auction house did not advertise on the internet. As a result I was able to purchase this Stadium Ball Cleaner by Slazenger which will feature shortly on the site.

Another such find to appear in the near future “The Presentation Set of Battledore” a boxed set of this early pastime. Purchased at auction, to my surprise it was a featured lot on Bargain Hunt some months later!
