He has many years of experience in coaching tennis to groups and individuals, adults from beginners to team players and juniors from beginners to regional level. Steve believes all players, no matter what level, are capable of improving their standard of play. He embraces the idea of coaching the individual in their specific needs.
Individual lessons are an hour in length and cost £30. For the very young, i.e. less than six years of age, 30 minutes may be more appropriate. Fees for group lessons vary according to the group size, but a rough guide would be about £5.
Holiday coaching for children is available during the two major school vacations. The easter and summer holidays offer the opportunity for a little more intensive tuition away from the daily school routine. Many players who take group lessons during term time or who are away at boarding school see this as an ideal opportunity to develop their technique.
You may sign up to the holiday mailing list by telephone, email or in writing. Once you are on this list you will receive a mail shot prior to the start of each vacation. This gives you the opportunity to book the times and days that suit you. It also allows you to choose your venue. Whether it is individual coaching or a group made up of friends, it allows you to work in a coaching scheme that is convenient to you and your holiday arrangements. Please note that all coaching slots are filled very quickly, so an early response is advisable.
