Gold Enamelled Rowing Medal 1926

An extremely high quality 9crt gold enamelled rowing medal, measuring 3.5 x 2.5cms. The front centre has an enamel inset of a single sculler in action, the gold surround has high quality decoration. To reverse there are a full set of hall marks for Birmingham 1926. The inscription reads L.G.O.C.S..A. Champion Fours F.J.Dale (Bow) Leyton. Condition is very good.

A Silver Enamelled Rowing Medal 1922

A superb enamelled rowing medal from 1922. The front face has a great enamelled image of a single sculler. This heart shaped medal is beautifully sculpted. To the reverse there is a full set of hall marks for Birmingham 1922. This item measures 4.5 x 2cms. Condition is excellent.

An original vanity fair print "Ethel", Mr Etherington-Smith, Captain, Leander Eight. A good quality Spy print from the Supplement dated August 5th 1908. Condition is very good, save a scratch running across the image, with a further blemish to the lower left. The imperfection does not detract from the image, though the price reflects this.
