Polo Glass Etched Paper Weight c1910

A very unusual well crafted polo paper weight. The heavy etching to the reverse is beautifully seen from the front with two polo players in action. The item has a maker's mark (butterfly) to the lower right corner. The surround is well edged. Condition is very good, save a minor mark to the lower right corner, there is also a tiny chip on the underneath top left corner (not detectable unless you turn the item over).

Mr Walter S. Buckmaster by Spy. An original Vanity Fair print of "Buck" September 4th 1907. This polo player is shown in polo gear with stick. Both framed and glazed this vanity fair print is very rare. Condition - excellent.
