A set of four sample Billiard Balls 1875

These four balls are in excellent condition, each having a linen tag. The ink written script; "This is the Billiard Ball marked A referred to in the declaration of Carl Frederick Schwauck declared before on the 28th day of June 1875 Rol Cunliffe a London Competition. Manufactured in England by Carl Frederick Schwauck and finished by material obtained in Berlin". Each linen tag reads the same except are labelled A, B, C and D.
